I am on my way to Colorado Springs for my attempt to summit Pikes Peak! I am driving today to Dalhart, TX where I will overnight and do the second part of the drive tomorrow (Friday 8/1/2023).
I plan to stay in Manitou Springs to acclimatize to the higher altitude before the climb up Pikes Peak on Wednesday September 6, 2023.
